United States 10-Year Bond Yield Overview

The U.S. 10-Year Bond is a debt obligation note by The United States Treasury, that has the eventual maturity of 10 years. The yield on a Treasury bill represents the return an investor will receive by holding the bond to maturity, and should be monitored closely as an indicator of the government debt situation. Investing resources into a 10 year treasury note is often considered favorable due to federal government securities being exempt from state and local income tax. It's heading that way, kind of surprised the FED isn't selling into the rally.  The FED is holding money, paying a higher interest rate in the reverse repo to prevent it from going negative.

You can not beat the inflation if there is to much liquidity. Agree Your observation.

I am seeing indications that inflation could be starting to pick back up. Example: copper is up 16% in just 2 weeks. If you recall it was the industrial metals that lead leading up to the inflation run. The difficulty for the economy with the Fed's strategy of focusing on interest rates and minimizing QT is that it takes much longer to remove the excess money supply from the system. So despite the real economy slowing, it is possible we could see inflation start to tick back up creating a very difficult stagflation situation. (just an observation)
